What makes Conroe Family Chiropractic different from other chiropractic offices?
At Conroe Family Chiropractic: A Health & Wellness Center, we utilize state of the art technology that has been used by NASA to assess the function of your nervous system. The equipment we use is the only kind that is certified by the Space Foundation. With this technology, we are able to specifically identify where your problem is and take the necessary steps to correct it. We focus on correcting your problem, not just symptom relief.
What diseases do you treat and can I get off my medication?
We treat only one thing in our office, a subluxation (nerve interference.) As your nervous system gets healthier and stronger the rest of your body will also get healthier and stronger. Many of our practice members have found that they have been able to decrease and even stop taking their medication (with approval from their medical doctor) as a result of receiving regular adjustments and becoming healthier.
What is a subluxation?
A subluxation is the term that describes interference of the nervous system at the level of the spine. This interference can affect the nerves that control your muscles as well as the nerves that control your organs. Stress in the physical, emotional and bio-chemical dimension can cause subluxations.
What is included in my care plan at Conroe Family Chiropractic: A Health & Wellness Center
Once Dr. Eulitt has reviewed your exam findings, including nerve test and x-rays, he will explain in detail exactly what needs to be done. Your care plan includes specific chiropractic adjustments to improve the function of your nervous system, re-exams to monitor your progress, lifestyle coaching on what needs to change outside the office to get the best results, attendance to our monthly “Wellness Workshops” and weekly education on how to live a long healthy fulfilling life without having to depend on drugs or surgery to get there.
What is a specific chiropractic adjustment?
The purpose of the chiropractic adjustment is to correct subluxations (remove nerve interference) and to allow your nervous system to become healthier and stronger. As your nervous system becomes healthier and stronger YOU become healthier and stronger. Adjustments of the spine can be performed by hand or by instrument (for those who prefer not to hear a “popping” sound.)
Is it safe for children to get adjusted?
Yes! We use very specific and gentle methods when adjusting babies and small children. Research has shown that 80% of new-born babies have damage to the nerves in their neck from the birthing process. Uncorrected, this damage can lead to frequent nose, throat and ear infections. Detection and correction of these nerve problems is essential to the health and development of babies.
Once I get adjusted do I have to keep coming back?
That is entirely up to you. Maintaining the health of your spine and nervous system is essential throughout your whole life. Many of our practice members choose to have their spine checked on a regular basis to ensure optimal function after their initial corrective care is complete.
My Medical Doctor told me never to go to a Chiropractor
Medical doctors go to medical school and are trained to treat people with medicine or surgery. A medical doctor can save your life in time of an emergency. However, medical doctors are rarely trained on how to help people without medicine or surgery and are very unfamiliar about the benefits of chiropractic. This lack of knowledge leads to fear of the unknown. Just like a chiropractor is not trained to perform surgery, a medical doctor is not trained to perform specific adjustments of the spine.
How much does it cost?
The first step is to do an initial evaluation to determine what’s wrong, and what is needed to correct your problem. If Dr. Eulitt can help you, he will then develop an individualized care plan for you. The initial evaluation is $97 and includes all nerve testing and all necessary x-rays. Your individualized care plan can range anywhere from a few hundred dollars to several thousand dollars depending on what’s wrong and what needs to be done to correct your problem.
Do you take my insurance / Medicare?
We work with all potential practice members regardless of whether they have insurance or not. If you do have insurance, coverage varies from policy to policy and when you come in for your initial evaluation we will do a complimentary verification of benefits to find out what may or may not be covered. Many of our practice members take advantage of our “cash” prices and choose not to use their insurance.
Due to recent changes in Medicare we no longer bill Medicare, however we have several Medicare aged practice members that get incredible results in our office, they simply pay us directly for their care.
