When I first came to Conroe Family Chiropractic: A Health & Wellness Center, I was not able to move my neck from side to side. The left side was extremely painful all the way down through my shoulder. I’d had this condition for 3 months before I finally decided to come in. I had surgery on that left shoulder 2 years ago and I was sure that I had torn something loose in there. I couldn’t believe that this was completely cured with these nerve treatments, I was so sure that I would need surgery again.

I’ve had a chronic cough for about 12-15 years, diagnosed as chronic bronchitis. I cleaned houses and offices for 27 years and that was a huge contributing factor in causing this condition, breathing strong chemicals daily. My sisters and I love to sing together and I could still do that. Then I was in a terrible car wreck. The air bags released when we hit a stonewall and my lungs were crushed. I couldn’t breath for 8 days and had to be on life support. After that there was so much scar tissue on my lungs that I could no longer sing. I would just cough if I tried!

I was coughing so hard all night that I developed a hernia and wasn’t able to sleep very much. The treatments I have received at the center for that condition have cleared it up about 75%, getting better all the time. I can sing again and sleep as well. For my lungs, the doctors had put me on breathing treatments and told me it was permanent. So glad to know they were wrong. I sang 10 songs all verses without coughing; I was practicing for our next get together.

These were the main two reasons I came to the chiropractic center, however I have received some side benefits. Every single morning, and during the night when I would get up I would get terrible leg cramps (charlie horses) often in the front of my lower legs which I never knew was possible. GOOD NEWS! Don’t have those anymore.

I’ve only been having treatments for 2 months. I tell everyone you don’t need drugs, treat the nerves, the body will take care of it self. I am almost 74 and I just finished putting chicken wire around a 100 ft pen and I am putting in a large garden.
